Region Sydney West-Parramatta

Parramatta Light Rail has been a long time coming for Sydney's Central City. One of the NSW Government’s latest major infrastructure projects being delivered to serve a growing Sydney, the $2.4 billion Parramatta Light Rail will create new communities, connect great places and help both locals and visitors move around and explore what the region has to offer. Major construction is set to begin in 2020, with the new light rail network expected to open in 2023.

This breakfast is the opportunity for the leading organisations of the Central City to hear an update from Parramatta Light Rail's new Program Director Anand Thomas, fresh from the Newcastle Light Rail build, on the status of the project and the transformational role it will play.

With Stage 2 of the project currently under consideration by the NSW Government, it is an opportune time to reflect on the necessity for Parramatta Light Rail and its role in connecting our growing Central City to its supporting suburbs.

The Chamber would like to thank its supporting sponsor in this event, Arab Bank Australia Limited, City of Parramatta and Holdmark.

This event is open exclusively to Sydney First, Western Sydney First and Corporate Connections members, by invitation only.
